Savannah, Your NC Doula
Transforming maternal care
Hi! I’m Savannah — doula, sleep coach (some even call me the baby whisperer), childbirth educator, placenta encapsulator, babywearing enthusiast, and proud mom of six.
I’ve been supporting growing families since 2010, offering emotional, educational, and hands-on care through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, sleep, and everything in between.
My journey into this work started with my own: two hospital births followed by four unmedicated freebirths. That transformation reshaped how I view birth and deepened my passion for advocating for women to feel informed, supported, and powerful.
I believe birth is beautifully normal — not something to be feared or managed, but honored and trusted. My approach is holistic, evidence-based, and always centered around you and your instincts. It has truly been a pleasure to share my knowledge and experience with people over the years, and my desire to support expectant/postpartum mothers and families has only grown stronger the longer I do this work and see how serious the need is for it.
When I’m not working with families, I’m homeschooling my kids, raising chickens and turkeys on our homestead in central North Carolina, and doing life with my forever farmhand of 21 years. It’s full, peaceful, beautiful and deeply fulfilling— a life I truly love. 💓
